(7) Route to Riding School
The first thing that we plan on doing is to leave my sister’s house in Newport, Oregon and ride to Colorado for a two day off-road riding school. I’ve been playing with the Garmin Basecamp GPS program and have figured out how to import those maps into Google Maps. This is my first take on a route to get from Newport to the school. I’m planning on stops at Crater Lake, Lassen Volcanic and Great Basin National Parks along the way. I’ve been to all these before but they will all be new to Neil. Planning on a combination of camping and hotels along the way.
